Michigan State University Department of Forestry - Forest Carbon and Climate Program
May 4 @ 3:00 pm
Forest management is an important natural climate solutions pathway, but its impacts on carbon are not widely understood. In this session, we discuss a series of modeling projects focused on forest management and carbon dynamics at a landscape scale, both in the ecosystem and in harvested wood products. The results of our work are being used in state-level climate action goals and forest management planning to maximize the natural climate solutions potential of forests.
